Hyatt Cook - Cafeteria - Full-Time in TUCSON, Arizona

Description:
A Colleague Dining Cook is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, organization and food service in the Colleague Dining Room. This will include preparing meals both hot and cold items, stocking buffets, ensuring the cleanliness of the dining room, stocking and requisitioning supplies, monitoring food temperature and quality, and answering questions about the menu.

Qualifications:
o Candidates should have at least 1 year of professional cooking experience, preferably cooking in a high-volume food service operation; or have a combination of professional work experience with formal culinary training. Cafeteria or similar experience is preferred.

o Candidates must also demonstrate good communication skills, good knife skills, product knowledge and identification, and knowledge of various cooking methods. o This position involves standing on feet for long periods of time and requires the ability to lift, push and carry moderate amounts of weight.
  • Candidates must have open morning and afternoon availability, including weekends and holidays. Schedules are based on business needs and may vary each week.
