Hyatt Driver/Bellman in TUCSON, Arizona


Bell Staff / Drivers are responsible for ensuring all arriving and departing guests receive an exceptional greeting and a warm farewell. Careful delivery of luggage is expected to be waiting for the guests in room prior to arrival. Giving resort orientations, delivering items to rooms and filling in as a driver when needed are the additional responsibilities.

Essential Functions:

  • Greet all guests, open doors and assist guests uponarrival

  • Load and unload luggage from vehicles

  • Escort guests to registration area while conversingwith guests

  • Control vehicle traffic and safety at drive entrance

  • Perform valet parking services and ensure guest cardsare secure

  • Transport guests luggage to and from guest rooms andvillas

  • Provide guests with an orientation tour of the propertycovering all facilities, amenities and features

  • Transport guests via golf cart as needed

  • Transport guest to various local sites and airport asassigned

  • Maintain secure and organized area of arriving anddeparting luggage with updated room status at all times

  • Deliver mail, packages, amenities, newspapers,schedules and messages as assigned

  • Perform light housekeeping duties in departure areas andarrival luggage hold areas as needed, and maintain cleanliness of the golfcarts

  • Maintain company property such as golf carts and vans.Ensure that any maintenance issues are reported.

  • Follow all safety protocols established for carts,vehicles and property

  • Be informed of all offerings to correctly answer guestsquestions

  • Participate in Miraval programming as time allows

  • Assist as directed by supervisor

  • Obtain a valid drivers license


High School diploma or GED equivalent. Valid AZ driver’s license with a clean driving record.


Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and interpret retail product labeling. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates of organization.


Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

The physical activity level is heavy, performing somewhat strenuous daily activities primarily relating to the heavy lifting of luggage and golf bags. Must be able to lift 75 lbs. or more. Lifting or carrying items could take up to 80% of the shift.

Must be able to stand and walk over 85% of the time on duty

Must be able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch.

Job duties are in an outdoor environment with full exposure to the elements. Lifting luggage consistently throughout the shift.
