Hyatt Housekeeping Room Attendant at Manor Vail Lodge in VAIL, Colorado

Description:
*Summary: *Cleans guest rooms and halls in lodge by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Sorts, counts, folds, marks, or carries linens.

Makes beds.

Replenishes supplies such as drinking glasses and writing supplies.

Moves furniture, hangs drapes, and rolls carpets.

Cleans lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, and stairways.

Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floor.

Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.

Dusts furniture.

Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork.

Washes windows, door panels, and sills.

Empties wastebaskets, and empties and cleans ashtrays.

Transports trash and waste to disposal area.

Replenishes bathroom supplies.

Replaces light bulbs.

Qualifications:
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Ability: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Math Ability: Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. * * Computer Skills: No Computer skills needed.
