Hyatt Baker/Pastry Cook in WASHINGTON, District Of Columbia

Description:
Preparation of all pastry products as trained in accordance to Pastry shop standards; assists higher level bakers; other duties as assigned by Chef.

Qualifications:
Prepare breads, rolls, muffins and other baked goods according to standard recipes and daily production schedule.

Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep fryers, griddles, mixers, and ovens.

Follow order specifications and work on multiple orders simultaneously.

Ensure the opening and closing procedures for pastry department are completed.

Monitor inventory of supplies and communicate the needs of your station to your direct supervisor.

Maintain professional standards, sanitation, health, and safety standards in all work areas.

Clean, stock, and restock workstations. Wash, cut, and prepare foods designated for cooking.

Must be able to start work as early as 4:00am and be available for weekends and holidays
