To perform all duties and tasks in the assigned Place of Work to the standard set. Please note that Master Task Lists are reviewed and changed on a regular bases reflecting change in trends, guest expectations and operating philosophies.
If pool area have guest, life guard must always stand by in the pool area. When life guard need to leave the pool, must get approval from manager. Pay all attention on guest safety, if guest in dangerous, must rescue guest to ensure safety.
Strictly abide by the rules and regulations of the swimming pool and politely stop guests diving and run, prevent the hotel guests enter the pool area rest or take photos. Should pay special attention to children under the age of 16 should be under the guidance of parents or adults entering the pool area.
Hold rescue and first aid certificates, and have the water rescue technology and artificial respiration.
Clear explanation to comply with the requirements of the safety and health and ensure that the guest and the use of related equipment.
Ensure all rescue equipment is in good condition in order to achieve safety standards.
To be fully conversant with all services and facilities offered by the hotel.
To perform opening and closing procedures established for the Place of Work as assigned.
To ensure that the pool areaand surrounding area is kept clean and organized at all times.
Must keep all areas clean at all time.
Must upkeep all pool equipment in and around the deck.
Makes optimum use of the pool equipment.
Understand the performance of the swimming pool, when there is no any guest use the swimming pool, can be arrange other work.

Handle guest enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner and report guest complaints or problems to Team Leader if no immediate solution can be found and assure follow up with guests.
Realize that his/her primary role is to be of service to the guest and that their needs & safety come first
Must impart correct information & advise the guest on the various services/activities in the hotel.
Must keep all areas clean at all time
Must be completely conversant with first aid & life saving techniques.

To understand and strictly adhere to the Rules & Regulations established in the Associates Handbook and the Hotel’s policy on Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety
To report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform and nametag at all times.
To maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times.
To maintain a good rapport and working relationship with staff in the Place of Work and all other departments.
To attend and contribute to all associate meetings Departmental and Hotel trainings scheduled and other related activities.
To undertake any reasonable tasks and secondary duties as assigned by the Team Leader.
To respond to any changes in the work place function as dictated by the hotel.
